Allgem Special Make

Allgem Special Make includes custom/special makes, remakes, and custom orders. This booking platform is sole regarded for Allgem Special Make consultations. This is to guarantee that someone from our jewellery design team will be available at your selected time.

Misuse of the booking platform is not tolerated.

Allgem still accepts walk-in appointments for gemstone, chain, bangle and wedding band orders, or jewellery repair/alteration, and valuation.

Consultation

There is no charge for booking an Allgem Special Make consultation.

Our focus is to guide you in narrowing your design preferences and requirements with one of our jewellery design team members.

During this consultation, our jewellery design team member will inform you about our quoting fee structure.

Client Supplied Stones

Any stone(s) supplied by the client will undergo a mandatory gemmological analysis and valuation to determine their retail replacement value. A fee of AUD $100 will be charged for this service.

Insuring the stone(s) is optional at an added fee of 10% of the total assessed value of the stone(s). This fee covers potential repair or replacement costs of the stone(s) in the event that the stone(s) are damaged or lost while in the care of Allgem Jewellers.

Allgem Jewellers will not be held liable for repair or replacement costs of uninsured stone(s) in the event that the stone(s) are damaged or lost while in their care.

The client acknowledges, understands, and accepts that there are risks associated with setting their supplied stone(s).

Quote Fees

A formal quote will not be produced during the appointment. Quotes will be finalised and emailed to your nominated email address within 1-2 weeks.

There is a mandatory quote fee for all Allgem Special Make quotes to cover the materials and labour during the quoting process. Quote fees start from $20 for a basic quote, upwards of $125 for a full 3D model. Additional design quotes are available at an added cost.

Quoting fees are non-refundable. The paid quote fee will be credited towards the Allgem Special Make if you wish to proceed with the quote.

Special Order

An Allgem Special Make is considered a Special Order once the remaining 50% deposit has been made, and the client has been issued a special-order number.

Manufacturing Period

Allgem will not commence designing, production, and/or manufacturing of the Allgem Special Make until the full 50% deposit for the Special Order has been paid.

Special orders may take between 3-8 weeks depending on the complexity of the design, the number of special orders taken on during the time, and around the holiday season.

Allgem jewellers will not take on quotes for Allgem Special Makes during the holiday season starting November 1^st, through till December 31^st. All special order to be completed for this period must be finalised, and in production before October 31^st of that year.
